Where does Stoneridge play?


Business structure & affiliations

  • Based in Pleasanton (California), Stoneridge Water Polo is a 501c3 non-profit organization recognized by the IRS and State of California.

Mission statement

  • To expose and promote the sport of water polo to athletes of all ages through skills training and team play for the purpose of benefiting the athlete.

Program goals

  • To develop athlete fundamentals and increase athlete game experience.
  • To provide players the opportunity to seek the level of competition they desire.

Program objectives

  • To instill in its young athletes a love of the sport, a dedication to hard work, team effort, camaraderie, and sportsmanship.
  • To guide athletes in creating an athletic road map.

Program structure

  • SWP is offered on a seasonal basis. Each season is uniquely developed to address the needs of the participants and may include instructional practices from the fundamentals of the game to strategy and execution, strength and conditioning, scrimmages, and tournament play. Please note not all seasons have tournaments.

    • Winter: high school, cadet, pee-wee
    • Spring: cadet & pee-wee
    • Summer: high school, cadet, pee-wee
